- I don't exactly know the real answer, but I can tell you this... I smoked for 16 years and finally quit smoking 7 months ago by using the patch so stick with it and good luck. ... YAY ME!
addiction of nicotine is supposed to be physical, although i've known plenty of people who just quit without the patches. weed is a psychological addiction & not akin to nicotine addiction. in the case of drug addiction there are people who are addicted to the drug but just as addicted to the drug administration process whether that be shooting up, snorting, chopping, rolling, cleaning, smoking what ever it is you do with your thing & that is many times just as hard to beat as any physical dependence. do yourself a favor & use this opportunity to quit both. you'll have to sever your ties to the vagabonds that follow this persuit with you to beat it, & that's another addiction. good luck, the mind is the strongest weapon & tool!

Smoking grass is better for you than getting drunk. People die from drinking more than they die from grass, I think the ratio might be 10,000 to 1 or something like that. The patch will not affect your toking. Get mint lifesavers to substitute for cigarettes and eat one when you want to smoke a cig. Decide you want to quit. Then stop buying them!
