So the powerful that get away with then can use them to destroy the ones that do not have the poere. I found out that the law is the most useless thing ther is when it comes to being fair. Why waist time in courts when the powerful have already made up what they are going to do.
I believe the system is so unbalanced & biased it's incredible. Look at the Native American Casinos. It's against the law in Arkansas, yet I can drive 35 miles across the Oklahoma Line and bingo......there is a Casino. I live in a "Dry" County but can drive 7 miles and there is Alcohol stores everywhere. I live on the outskirts of town but still have to pay extra city sales tax on my vehicles, whereas 1 mile away my neighbors don't. A passenger vehicle in some states can have a radar detector on, but an 18-wheeler cannot....anywhere in the U.S. It's quite a mixed breed of government that is to say the least.
- One of God's laws, "Might Makes Right". Or maybe the devil slipped one in.
- Majority rules.
- We have laws because without laws the world would be chaos all over. People would be able to do whatever they wanted to. People could hurt or even kill one another. That is why the founding fathers of our country came up with the Constitution including the Bill of Rights and the twenty-six amendments. All of them consist of laws. Most of the laws are obeyed. When they are not, the person breaking the law is punished. Sometimes laws seem unfair and need to be changed. The government is constantly changing and making new laws.
- thats how the more powerful make money..
- Because it's those in power who MAKE the laws. Class-protection. It's why penalties for crack are so much stiffer than for refined coke.
- most government agencies profile the population. If you look like a criminal you are treated like a criminal. Why do you think an attorney will always try to dress his defendent like a successful member of society. People make their mide up about a person within the first 3 seconds of seeing them.
